Just because they are brave enough to fight for their right, aware others about the horrible threat, speak about injustice despite how people humiliate them, and try to start living a normal life again doesn't mean they were never broken. most of us has faced these horrifying acts of crime, from cat calling to rape, these monsters pierce through our heart and brain leaving a hideous scar. We learn to live with it, even talk casually about that 'one time' but the moment we feel even a minor threat it takes us back to that day filling us up with the same fear and trauma.
IT TAKES YEARS FOR SOME VICTIMS TO GET OUT OF THE TRUMA, SOME HIDE IT WHILE THEY FIGHT IT, AND OTHERS GIVE UP. BUT A VICTIM NEVER FORGETS. STOP BLAMING OR HARASSING THE VICTIMS, MAKE IT EASIER FOR THEM.
